FURIA, Luminosity, Sharks invited to DreamHack Open Rio

Three Brazilian teams will be in attendance at the $100,000 DreamHack Open event in Rio de Janeiro, the organizers have announced.

The eight-team tournament will be held at the Barra Olympic Park in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on April 19-21. DreamHack Open Rio will be the second international LAN to be held in Brazil in 2019, with BLAST Pro Series set to take place in São Paulo in March.

FURIA will get to play in front of their home crowd

FURIA have received one of the invites following their impressive Major campaign which saw them get to IEM Katowice's New Challengers Stage all the way from the North American open qualifiers.

Kaike "⁠KSCERATO⁠" Cerato & company will be joined by Luminosity, who are currently ranked #29 after kicking off the year with a disappointing result at iBUYPOWER Masters, and Sharks, who have recently found themselves outside of the Top 30 in the World Ranking.
